Whether at work or relaxing at home, air conditioning can make
a big difference to your environment: getting the best out of the
working day and enjoying to the full your home environment. And
Daikin offers more choice than ever with floor standing, wall,
ceiling or window-mounted, ceiling cassette, or discreet ducted
split air conditioning systems that neatly fit in a ceiling or
wall void. Engineering is at its highest level of reliability,
on-board computer technology has enhanced performance output, and
Daikin General leads the way in finished product design.

In the workplace, air conditioning is no longer considered a luxury.
Instead employers can see the real benefits of maintaining a comfortable
working environment through increased production. Research has
shown that as the office or factory temperature rises, so staff
performance falls. And many more homeowners now consider air conditioning
as important as their home heating system. Which, when you think
about it, makes sense.
Split air conditioning systems are particularly beneficial as
the condenser (housing the motor, etc) is installed outside the
building, ensuring quiet operation inside. A remotely wired or
hand-held controller provides flexible operation relating to time
programmes, room temperatures and more. Add heat pump technology
and your split air conditioner can now supply heating as well as
cooling to the room, often providing an economical alternative
to central heating systems.
VRF & VRV Installations
VRF technology (Variable Refrigerant
Flow) is suited to larger building applications. This range has
been specifically designed for today’s stringent building
requirements and also addresses the key issues such as energy efficiency,
adaptability and reliability. VRF is a simple and flexible solution
where there’s
a demand for multiple fan coils and change over capacity between
heating and cooling, ensuring a constant comfortable internal climate.
The ability to provide simultaneous heating and cooling can be
achieved through heat recovery technology.
Enhanced Capital Allowances
Much of the equipment we recommend
is classed as designated energy saving and, as such, is eligible
for the Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA) scheme which was introduced
by the Government in 2001 in parallel with the Climate Change Levy
(CCL). The CCL imposed a levy on energy tariffs for businesses
(excluding very small businesses) while the ECA scheme enables
these businesses to reclaim all the tax allowance very quickly
if they invest in approved energy efficient equipment. When investing
in any new capital equipment you are entitled to offset the cost
against your corporation tax by claimimg capital allowances. For
most capital investments this allowance is spread over a period
of time, sometimes up to 10 years. The Enhanced
Capital Allowance (click for more info) provides up-front tax
relief, as up to 100% of the allowances can be reclaimed in the
first year.
Air conditioning
We design, supply and install a wide range of air conditioning
systems that provide cooling solutions throughout summer, as
well as systems that provide heating and cooling all year round
known as heat pumps.
M Series
Designed to heat or cool small to medium sized applications, the
new R410A M Series range provides a versatile, yet affordable
air conditioning solution. Quick to install, this newly designed,
attractive range offers the perfect way to ensure a comfortable
environment with the minimum of disruption.
Mr Slim
Suitable to heat or cool a huge variety of applications, the Mr
Slim range is one of Britain’s best selling air conditioning
split-systems. Combine the efficiency with the complete versatility
that this range has to offer and the possibilities are virtually
infinite.
City Multi (VRF)
The City Multi range is Mitsubishi Electric’s answer to large
scale VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) applications. The efficiency
of City Multi is second to none, and the new R410A range offers
a substantial increase in energy efficiency and corresponding EER/COP
ratings.
Lossnay
Developed and refined over the past 30 years, the Lossnay system
has perfected the recovery of waste energy. The units reduce
overall energy costs by extracting stale air and then recovering
the heating or cooling energy to either warm or cool incoming
fresh air.
Controls
The need for control is paramount in order to optimise the performance
of any air conditioning system and minimise its running costs.
Mitsubishi Electric offer a wide range of control options from
simple hand held controllers to web based systems, designed to
do just this.
We offer simple installations such as wall mounted split-systems
to serve small offices, server rooms and the home, to the more
complex systems such as solutions for winter and summer.
Heat pump systems that provide cooling and heating are fast becoming
the preferred option in climate control. Identical to the cooling
only models, heat pumps offer temperature control all year round,
reducing annual energy costs significantly compared to conventional
heating methods due to their low energy consumption.
